{ ❝ } “Some of my clients can be so dull,” Sonya complained with a sigh as she twirled her hair around her finger. “Luckily, I’m on my break. Anyone around?” Surely, there had to be someone to take away the nagging that was boredom she was experiencing.

{√}—Perseus held up a hand for forgiveness. “Sonya it is. And indeed; Last time I checked, I do have a name. Perseus is the name.” He told her. And if she had thought his first impression was good she would be right further down the road. Unless of course something had angered him. Sadly, he took his mother’s temper. “Oh, I am lucky. I might have been wandering around this place for hours.” He confessed.
{ ❝ } Perseus? It sounded like something right out of those books her mother used to read her as a kid. But those were just fairytales, right? None of that shit was real. There were no Gods, or monsters that roamed the Earth. Just scumbag humans trying to get somewhere in their lives. Quirking a brow, Sonya hummed slightly in response. “Fancy name, Slim. I think I’ll stick with Percy though, if you don’t really mind.” At this point, she had gone off a tangent and started rambling. It took her a moment, but she found herself back on topic. “Probably,” She nodded, not bothering to sugar coat the truth for Percy. “Where’d you say you were originally from?”

{√}— “No offense maa’m I meant nothing by it,” He quickly pulled off his hat and straightened up. “I’m new to New York, and I guess I’ve just picked a rather dull area, is all.” He offered her a grin.
{ ❝ } “Ma’am was my mother— You can call me Sonya. You’ve got a name, I presume?” The newcomer seemed nice enough, especially having this be his first time in New York. Most tourist thought they owned the streets of the ‘concrete jungle’ the first time they made contact with it. Given a few hours, they were sorely mistaken. “You’re lucky you found me then, huh, slim?” She teased, grinning back with her hands firm in her pockets. “C’mon, I’ll show you some place fun.”

“I never knew New York could be so boring.”
{ ❝ } “I take offense to that. It’s not all boring— you just need to know where to go.”
